Purple Snow

There’s a mountain in a place I know
Got some clouds that make some purple snow
And when they rain it’s so divine
Cuz that rain becomes purple wine

Purple wine so sweet and true
Makes me think about me & you
Back in time when we were young
And purple was the color of fun

Where does time go?
It melts away like purple snow
Runs like Kool-Aid through the streets
Stains the bottom of my feet
I track it through the kitchen door
Leave my footprints on the floor

I love some purple snow

Purple snow it’s a funny thing
And when I’m in it, Lord, it makes me sing
It’s never cold but it makes you numb
